Is the United States of America really Babylon the Great? Part I |
| 6/2/2008 2:26:34 PM |
A very interesting question; Is the United States of America really Babylon the Great? On the outside it looks as if this is true, such proofs are:
1) Babylon the Great is a nation 2) New York City is the Great City Babylon 3) The United Nations is in New York City
These are just a few of the proofs that The United States of America is Babylon the Great of Revelations. however, is there a problem here? I remember listening to the Gianni Hayes show on the internet; and one of her guests was blaming the white race for every conceivable atrocity known to have happened in history. Everything from slavery, to pollution, to land grabbing; it seems that all other races are civilized and work well with one another. Only the white race is bad and corrupt. Is this really true, or is this what we are suppose to believe?
History has shown that Hispanics hate each other; they hate blacks, who hate each other. According to the Justice Department blacks are 7 times more likely to commit violent crimes against whites than whites against blacks, and Hispanics are 5 times as likely. The Old Testament and the New Testament doesn't agree with the concept that whites are so terrible, and actually doesn't agree with the idea that the United States of America is Babylon the Great. There is one verse that seems to be known by most people; those that are Christian's and those that are Christian wanna bee's. The verse is: "Judge not, that ye be not judged; For with what judgment ye judge shall ye be judged, And with what measure ye mete shall it be measured unto you." (Matthew 7:1 Rotherham's Emphasized Bible). We love this verse because it tells us never to judge what someone else is doing. Sort of like what "Cain" told God after he killed his brother, "Am I my brothers keeper?" In other words, this verse is used to keep the christian from ever criticizing what another Christian is doing. How many Christian's take the time to really understand what the verse means? Apparently not many. The word "judge" in this verse is the Greek word "krino," and it literally means, to condemn, conclude, avenge, damn, decree, determine esteem, sentence to," #2919 Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. In other words this verse is actually saying, "not to goddamn someone." This is like saying, "Nobodies perfect" when the Bible says, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48; King James Bible). However, there is one verse in the Bible that seems to never be mentioned or remembered; that verse is: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment," (Gospel of John 7:24, King James Bible). In other words, christians are to judge; not with a personal vendetta or contempt, but with righteousness. Now getting back to our study:
Babylon the Great is a nation - If this is proof that the United States is Babylon the Great, than we do have a problem here. There would be several Babylon the Greats; Sweden, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, and so forth. I think that it should be remembered that Babylon the Great came out of Persia. It was known as Babylon the Great in its day simply because of its beauty and its immense size; and it was located in what is now known as Iraq. Persia was not a country, but a province, at that time. This is true of Egypt, Mesopotamia, and other civilizations that made it through Noah's flood.
However, there is actually one country that fits the bill for being Babylon the Great, and that is the state of Israel. Now why would I say this? Israel was established as a state or country in 1948; when they stole Palestine from the Palestinians. Through out their history, this is the very first time that the Jews were established as a country. The Jews in the state of Israel today are not the Hebrews of the Bible, or the religion of the Hebrews. In a publication entitled "Judaism and the Christian predicament," page 59, Rabbi Bokser wrote:
"This is not an uncommon impression and one finds it sometimes among Jews as well as Christians -- that Judaism is the religion of the Hebrew Bible. It is of course a fallacious impression. "Judaism is not the religion of the Bible." Also, the Jewish paper called "Jewish World," for March 1923, states: "Fundamentally Judaism is anti-Christian."
If Judaism isn't the religion of the Hebrews of the Bible; than whose religion is it? It is the religion that comes out of Babylon of Persia. The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, under the word "Pharisees," states:
"The Jewish religion as it is today traces its descent, without a break, through all the centuries, from the Pharisees. Their leading ideas and methods found expression in a literature of enormous extent, of which a very great deal is still in existence. The Talmud is the largest and most important single piece of that literature ... and the study of it is essential for any real understanding of Pharisaism."
This is important when you consider that the United States fits the description of Israel. Consider this:
1) A great and mighty nation blessing others with righteous law's (Genesis 12:2; 18:18; Deuteronomy 4:7, This could only refer to the United States of America
2) The chief of nations. A chosen, special, holy people reigning over nations (Genesis 27:29, Deuteronomy 7:6; 15:6) This could only refer to the United States of America.
3) A maritime nation having command of the seas (Genesis 49:15; Numbers 24:7; Deuteronomy 33:13, 19; Psalm 89:25. This could only refer to the United States of America.
4) A company, multitude, or commonwealth of nations (Genesis 35:11; 48:19; Ephesians 2:12) Israel has always been a nation and a company of nations. The european nations are a company of nations, and the United States is an extension of them. Before Israel arrived on the scene there were no nations per say. They were loose federations and provinces. It has always been the white race that formed all cultures and civilizations. The United States of America is a nation that came from a company of nations.
5) Missionary nation showing praise of God. A blessing to all other nations (Genesis 22:18; Isaiah 43:21; 49:6; 66:19). 97% of missionary work is done by the United States of America, and Great Britain. The United States government even has a department that is solely used for evangelizing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, the Jews may have gotten rid of this governmental entity in order to destroy any vestige of Christianity in our country. I know that this organization existed because years ago I contacted them to see about going on the mission field. They had a policy that every person should go on the missionary field for at least two years. |
