The Chronicles of Narnia: I was very fortunate not to have to purchase this movie either. I received this movie as a Christmas gift, so I can honestly say that I didn't have to put money into the Hollywood coffers so to speak. WOW, a lot of the occult here, and this is suppose to be a Christian film. I wonder why we have to rely on talking animals, witchcraft, and sorcery to get the message across. Is it possible that Christian film makers are trying to not offend anybody by bringing in much of the world in their film making. This reminds me of the movie The Lion King, where much of the movie is centered around a kingdom of animals fighting for position, authority, and power in a fantasy world. Again, I am lucky that I didn't have to buy this movie either.
One thing that Christians must realize is that they have to treat the occult and witchcraft for what it is; evil, and anti-God and Jesus Christ. No where in the Bible does it say that we are to use the occult and witchcraft to promote Christian concepts and idea's. Are we pleasing God, or are we appeasing man? This is something that we must wrestle with day in and day out. Do we invite Jesus Christ into our lives to sup with us with willingness, or because we feel we have to; but are actually offended by his presence. This is another thing that we must wrestle with, and be very honest with ourselves and with God.
The Lion King: The youthful lion is a form of Jesus Christ or (Christ), and when the orangoutang lifts the young lion up to the sun; it is a form of offering, a blood sacrifice, or sacrifice. The stars glitter and move about, and then for a split second, the word "sex," is formed, and then it fades a way. When the orangoutang (who is suppose to be a priest. Could he represent the Leviticus priesthood that the Bible speaks of) makes a potion; he is using tea leaves, which is an occult practice. He throws the tea leaves up in the air, and when they land on the ground the word "sex" is formed. Is all this necessary? In Hollywood yes; simply because they have an agenda and a message to give; and it isn't Christian.
My biggest fear is that Christian film makers are following this same subtleties and concepts; and it seems that they are trying to reach the people in a very round about way, but not really being up front about it. I think I would rather be preached the truth that is cut and dry, rather than in a subtle and subversive way. Of course, the more you preach the fewer your reach, but isn't God trying to find those that are willing to listen. Is it up to me to reach everyone, or those that God has brought to me. This entire movie has a continuous Christian theme without the Christian reality being present in the theme. Also, does God want to have everyone in his kingdom, or is he just looking for the "Lost Sheep of Israel," that the Bible constantly talks about. Also, are there people in the world that actually can never accept the Kingdom of God? Good question.
The Chronicles of Narnia: is very similar. Young children go through a secret door that leads to a fantasy world called Narnia; where there is a war going on between the witch and her minions, and the animals and their need to maintain their freedom. All of a sudden the children are heroic leaders; and sadly, a Christian concept that is rarely true to reality. One has to ask a simple question here. Why are Christians so afraid to bring Jesus Christ and God's kingdom to light? Why do they need to have talking animals, and a fantasy world to bring about the message. It is interesting that Jesus Christ never preached salvation, but he preached the "Kingdom of God," and of "heaven."
"From that time began Jesus to be making proclamation, and saying, -- Repent ye, for the Kingdom of the heavens (plural) hath drawn near," (Matthew 4:17); "And Jesus was going round throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the glad message of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every infirmity, among the people (Matthew 4:23 Rotherham's Emphasized Bible) or "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people (King James Bible)."
"For God so loved the world That his only begotten Son he gave, -- That whosoever believeth on him Might not perish, But have life age-abiding. For God sent not his Son into the world, That he might judge the world, But that the world might be saved through him (John 3:16-17 Rotherham's Emphasized Bible)," or "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosesoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through might be saved (king James Bible)." So in other words; Jesus Christ came to establish the Kingdom of God and of Heaven, and specifically to the "Lost Sheep of Israel," in other words, those that are divorced Israel in dispersion. "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand (near) (King James Bible)."
Sometimes you have to try to figure out where C.S. Lewis (author of, "The Chronicles of Narnia,") got his Christianity from. I have done some research on him, and found out that he also leaned toward Gnosticism's. In other words, not true Christianity. Sometimes it is imperative to preach the Kingdom of God just as Jesus Christ did; and with the power he gave the Apostles and Disciples. Any Christian movie should always have a reason; a means to an end so to speak. Never to hide the Kingdom of God that is quickly approaching us. "No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed, but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light (King James Bible)."
In other words; never hide the truth, but be willing to stand up for the truth no matter the cost ("Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." - Matthew 5:48 King James Bible). OH-OH, I thought no body was perfect? Well, I guess Jesus Christ proved us all wrong. This is a hard thing simply because it is easier to use fantasy in order to express something that most Christians seem to find hard to achieve. I think that it is actually very simple. Don't be afraid of the truth, or what people say; but be willing to express the truth, no matter what people say. Homosexuals in the church; this is a direct violation of the scriptures, get rid of them. Women preaching in the church; there is no scriptural doctrine and precedence for this, get them out of the church. Why should we be afraid; after all, if "God is with us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31, King James Bible)."
There is so many laws, organizations, and politicians that seem to want to integrate everything in our country. I think that it is important to realize that only the white race is suppose to integrate, no other race has to. The main reason for this is very simple; you have to integrate the white race in order to get rid of Christianity. To integrate is to amalgamate which destroys the white race. Any race mixing destroys the white race; this is why God condemns it. Jesus Christ can't use someone who is a hybrid. This is why so many house church's are springing up around the country, and why the white race is starting to speak up for its rights. After all, the white race is the most discriminated race in our country; and they have the obligation and the responsibility to proclaim God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof (Matthew 6:33-34; King James Bible)." This is the only way to maintain your Christian living.
