In today's society, there are many reasons to be afraid to just pull a book off of the library shelf and begin reading to your children. You rarely find Christian childrens books on the library shelves these days. What has happened to the solid foundation that the Christian childrens books have given our children in the past generations?
I know today so many things are considered politically incorrect and you have to be so careful to not offend anyone, but I can't tell you this, I am offended when I go to the Public Library and pick a book off the shelf for my grandchild and it's a book on how Johnny has two dads. That's not what we should be teaching our children! We should be teaching them edifying stories from Christian childrens books!
The reason our society is degrading so quickly is we have lost our foundation of faith that our forefathers laid before us! It all starts with training our children in the way they should go, and that can be accomplished by simply reading them a bedtime story from some Christian childrens books; they will have that foundation to build upon!
I still remember when I was a child and our next door neighbor would read to me from her Christian childrens books; one of the stories I still remember today! It was a story about a child breaking a window and being honest and telling someone the truth about what he had done. You may change the life of your child by reading them Christian childrens books at night. You will be creating memories with your child.
